I bought 4 tickets to see Polar Express at the Legacy Theater, but when it was clear that it wasn't going to work for Brady (didn't start until 7 pm on a Sunday night, and I new it would be a long night certain to overstimulate Brady) we decided to let Ethan invite 2 friends. He invited Nate and Zac, and I took all three of them to the Theater! They got to make lanterns and ornaments, have hot chocolate and popcorn and watch the movie "Polar Express." When the movie was over, there was a surprise visit from Santa himself, who gave each child a bell (like in the movie). It was super cute and the boys had a great time.

Ethan's Halloween Party at CTK!
I am room mom for Ethan's kindergarten class with Mrs. Johannes so I got to plan the Halloween Party. Since I was somewhat limited in my ability to plan Ethan's birthday party this year (remember...Chuck-e-Cheese...not much you can do from a party planning standpoint for that!), I took out my built-up party planning needs on the Kinders Halloween Party!
Treats!!
We played the touch and feel game where they had to put their hand in the box and figure out what it was. So for instance, there peeled grapes (eyeballs), cold spaghetti (brains), gummy worms (rat tails), pears (heart).
Bags that the kids decorated.
Treat bags and mummy pudding cups w/oreos.
We colored Halloween masks and played Halloween BINGO!
And then the Moms all helped put together a last minute spider craft:-)
Finally, we ended the party with a dress-up relay race...the boys definitely liked this game more than the girls (in fact I think only one of the girls actually participated in the race:-)
Brady's Halloween Party at CTK
Halloween Costume Parade...Brady with Mrs. Jenkins...his favorite person in the world (next to his Mama of course:-)
Brady was SO excited about his pirate costume....I was worried he wouldn't keep it on, but in fact he didn't want to take it off!
Playing Halloween Bingo...Brady (and most of the kids) just wanted to eat the pumpkins:-)
Icing his cookie...because of Brady's food allergies we had to bring him his own cookie (which kept falling apart) and his own icing. He got tired of it falling apart and eventually just decided to lick the icing right of the cookie...can't say I blame him!!
