Ahoy Matey! Ethan's "early" Halloween at Mimi and Papa's House
Ethan loves Peter Pan and Jake and the Neverland Pirates so when we asked him what he wanted to be for Halloween he quickly responded with "Pirate!" Apparently other people knew this as well because he received two pirate costumes for his birthday!
We always go to Mimi and Papa's house over the Halloween weekend so Ethan can dress up for Mimi and Papa and trick or treat in Shelbyville.

Superhero Party!!
Ethan's friend Arielle's 3rd birthday party had a superhero theme...Ethan LOVED dressing up like Spiderman! He liked the hat and glasses so much that he wore them the entire party and even kept them on the entire car ride to Shelbyville. Who knew he would like Spiderman so much?!

Happy 3rd Birthday To Ethan!!
Ethan is always asking to have his friends over to play so for his birthday this year we decided to have a party at our house....twelve of Ethan's friends came to the party...when they showed up one by one he was so excited he was giddy...adorable!
The theme for the party was Disney's Cars 2....I asked him multiple times what he wanted for his party and every time he answered "Cars!!" So two years in a row we celebrate Ethan's birthday with Lightning McQueen and Mater!
Desserts!!

Every race track has popcorn!
You can't have a party for toddlers without a bounce house, right?!
The kids all got a wooden car to paint and decorate...thankfully I was able to borrow the "art project" t-shirts from Ethan's school for all the kids to wear!

Ryan made cardboard cars for the kids to wear in a relay race...pretty cute watching them all try to run while holding up the car!

Ethan's friend Brooklyn came over at the end of Ethan's party and she and Ethan played in the sandbox for at least 2 hours....Ethan was a hot mess when they finally came inside....and so exhausted that he slept 14 hours that night. I would say the party was a success!
