Ethan and Parker....oh where to begin. They are exactly (give or take a week) a year apart, and are best buddies. Parker is the wild child, the rebellious one with a heart of gold who adores (that is putting it midly) his big cousin Ethan. When Ethan walks in to a room where Parker is, he loudly exclaims "Efan!!" (that is not a typo, that is how Parker pronounces Ethan...."Efan"....its too cute!). Ethan is the more reserved child, the sneaky one who by all appearances is well behaved, until you leave the room and then does exactly what you told him not to. He loves to boss Parker around, and tells us that "he will protect Parker." So needless to say we have a feeling the two of them are going to get in a lot of trouble together in the future!
Now that the boys are getting older, and because they seriously love spending time with each other, we decided to have Parker over to spend the night Friday night. They had such a great time and Ryan and I had an even better time watching them together.
After dinner they asked if they could go outside to play. It took about 1 minute for them to find the water and then it was all over. I thought about telling them to stay out of the water....but then what fun would that be?!
Bathtime couldn't have come sooner! Brady....wishing that he was still in the tub to play with Ethan and Parker.
After baths it was time for a movie (Toy Story 3), popcorn and juice.
Before bed both boys suddenly needed to go potty....so they sat and read their books, out loud no less, while they went potty.
Time for Bed!!!
We had pancakes in the morning. I told them the night before that we were going to have pancakes in the morning, and Parker kept asking Ethan where the cupcakes were. Apparently he misunderstood me when I said "pancakes." Can you tell by the picture that he was clearly disappointed by the pancakes?!
Brady loved them though, I'm pretty sure he ate more than Ethand and Parker combined.
After breakfast we took the boys to the park...sweaty sweaty boys!!
Brady hanging out in the grass (still not sure about the grass:-)
