July 4th - SNAP POP!

We spent July 4th weekend at Mimi and Papa's in Shelbyville...it was a weekend that was jam packed with fun. I think we spent every hour of the day outside swimming, fishing, riding bikes, playing baseball and running around. AWESOME weekend:-)

What better way to start your morning on the 4th of July than throwing snap pops in your PJs?? Brady couldn't figure out how to get them to pop just by throwing them down so he insisted on jumping on them. Ethan preferred to throw a handful up at once for a larger "SNAP"!

On Ethan's actual birthday we started the day out with presents (what better way, right?) Ethan got Legos and Hot Wheels Big Feet.

Brady got a small present as well from Ethan (its not all about receiving, at least thats the message we are going for:-)

We then headed to Build A Bear and both boys got a make a bear. Brady was hard at work entering all of his bear's information into the computer:-)

Ethan's 5th Birthday Party .... ANGRY BIRDS!!

For Ethan's 5th Birthday we rented out Soccer World and combined two of Ethan's favorite things....Angry Birds and Soccer!

Life Size Angry Birds game....we took UHaul boxes and painted them brown, and then used paper lanterns for the green guys (no clue what they are really called:-)  I also found Angry Birds playground balls that the kids used to throw.

No birthday party that I throw is complete without an art project:-)

Keeping up with Big Brother at his birthday party can be exhausting....just ask this 2 1/2 year old!
