Decided at the last minute today to take the boys to Grant's Farm. We went with the Pirrera's and the Burnett's. It was chaotic....Brady wasn't feeling the best but was such a trooper!! (he has a molar tooth coming in, along with a possible case of hand, foot & mouth that didn't surface until we got there and a cold that won't go away), I temporarily lost my iphone (left it on the tram and Ryan had to go back and hunt it down), and just the normal things that go on when you travel anywhere with a 3 (almost 4) year old and a 15 month old....but I wouldn't miss these moments for the world....making memories, no matter how chaotic....is what its all about:-)
One hilarious story from the day, of course didn't have my camera out for this one, was when I strolled Brady up to a donkey that was in the stable area. As soon as we got up to the window, the donkey let out a blood curdling "Hee Haa" and Brady first jumped, then shook, then let out an equally blood curdling scream....I think his heart must have skipped at least a few beats and he would have certainly jumped straight out of his stroller if he wasn't fastened in:-)
Feeding the goats....I did this when I was a little girl, but I don't remember the goats being so aggressive!! They chewed on whatever they could, including our clothes....
Daddy and Brady were the smart ones and fed the goats through the fence:-)
Always climbing!
Parker checking out the giant turtle.
Ryan and Ethan feeding the camel....who knew that camels' mouths were so disgusting?!?
Overheard Ethan consoling Parker telling him "It's okay Parker, there will be another train." (The tram was full so we had to wait for the next one:-)
On the tram!
Can you tell someone is teething?!
Playing Peek-a-Boo when the tram started....scaring Brady....now he's not sure if he wants to laugh or cry:-)
