Ethan's Morning Routine

Every morning before daycare Ethan goes through the same routine....wake up with lots of kisses from Mommy and Daddy....then stretch....diaper change and get dressed, then take blanky into the family room where his chair is waiting with a sippy cup of warm milk and an episode of either Mickey Mouse Clubhouse or Tigger & Pooh.

This morning was the same routine, except that we still had jammies on because it is a Saturday! Yeah!!

Ethan "Organizes" His Socks

I was making dinner this week and I hadn't seen Ethan for a few minutes, I knew he was in his bedroom but wasn't sure what he was doing, so I went in to see what he was up to....this is what I found....



Ethan was taking all of his socks out of his sock drawer and putting them into his diaper geenie....then taking them out and putting them back in the drawer, and then same cycle all over again! So methodical....it was hilarious!

Sleepy Eater

Ethan fell asleep tonight eating dinner....he kept holding his fork though....well....for the most part!

Afternoon with the Ladies (and Ethan)

My friend Megan had twins in November (Cali and Cami) and she came to Springfield Saturday so all the ladies got together.

Ethan is a Toddler!

Ethan has officially become a big boy....on Monday he moved to the Toddler room at First Impressions full-time! Mommy was really sad to see him make the big move, but he loves it! To give you an idea of what a toddler does all day long, here is the Toddler Room Routine:

6:30 - 8:00 Free Play
8:00 - 8:30 Breakfast (ethan usually makes it just in time for breakfast)
8:30 - 9:00 Diaper Changes/Centers
9:00 - 10:00 Outside time
10:00 - 10:40 Circle time/Learning Centers
10:40 - 11:00 Art/music and dance
11:00 - 11:30 Lunch
11:40 - 12:00 Diaper changes/story time
12:00 - 2:30 Nap time
2:30 - 3:15 Diaper changes/snack
3:15 - 4:15 outside time
4:15 - 4:45 Diaper changes/free play
4:45 - 5:30 Free Play

One of Ethan's favorite times of the day is lunch and snack time....as an example, here is what Ethan ate today:

Breakfast: captain crunch, toast, juice
Lunch: Lasagna, green beans, applesauce, milk
Snack: Pretzels, juice

Oh to be a toddler again!!
