FIELD TRIP!! Ethan's class goes to the Apple Barn!

Ethan's preschool class had a field trip today to the Apple Barn where they learned all about the different kinds of apples that they grow there....it was actually really interesting for me, a serious apple lover! 

 They also have blackberries and all of the kids got to try one.  Cautious Ethan was very hesitant to try one, but when he saw the other kids eating them he quickly decided he couldn't be the only one not to. 

 And suprise!  He actually liked it and got to have another one!

 After the trip through the orchid the kids each get an apple and a cup of cider slush....perfect snack to end the trip!

Kater Bug's 5th Birthday Party

When we got home from the party the boys wanted to play in the yard....I went inside for a second and came out to find Ethan going to the bathroom....

 I still had my camera so I snapped a shot because I could see Brady on his way over....and as Brady got to Ethan he said, in his melodic tone (if you know Brady, you know exactly what I'm talking about), "Whatcha doing Ethan?"  It was priceless

Ethan, so proud of himself for peeing in the yard:-)  All I can say is....BOYS! 

Afternoon at the Apple Barn

This afternoon we were bored and looking for something to do so we took a quick trip to the Apple Barn in Chatham to get some apples and to drink some apple cider slush.

Brady was especially fond of the slush....something that he isn't allergic to that tastes yummy!

CIRCUS!!

We took the boys to the Circus this afternoon with Lex, Darrin, Parker & Ella.  Before the circuit started though they boys had to ride the train and the ponies (of course!). 

 Brady LOVED the pony!!

 Ethan was a little unsure, didn't want to ride it until he saw Brady was going to.

Jack's 3rd Birthday Party at Southwind Park

Jack's 3rd birthday party was at Southwind Park this year and the kids had a great time playing in the water fountains and on the playground.  Perfect start to the Sunday!

Ethan's First Night of Basketball Camp

We signed Ethan up for Fall Fundamentals at The Gym for this Fall.  It's an hour and 15 minutes every Tuesday and Thursday night for 6 weeks...tonight was his first night!

Popcorn and a Show....A Nightly Tradition

The boys have developed somewhat of a tradition at night, that includes popcorn and a show after their baths in our bed....and lately the show of choice has been Bubble Guppies or Octonauts.
