Ryan and I decided to bring home Dairy Queen for everyone (we missed you Aunt Jenni!)....we weren't sure if Ethan would still be awake but decided to get him a chocolate milkshake just in case....after all, we were on vacation!

Our Day on the "Big Boat"

The Levi's took us out on their yacht in Naples our last day in Florida and we had an amazing time....it was a day we will always remember! Thank you so much Dick, Aggie, Ryan and Kristen!

I went to the Marian Center today to grab a book and while I was there I saw a card with Ethan's name on it....Ethan stands for "strong" and this is the verse that goes w/his name:

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9

Cake Disaster (and Food Coloring Too!)!!

So on Friday I made a cake to take to a friend's house the next night....it was a disaster....not only did it fall apart (for a number of reasons that I won't go into) but the color turned out less like pastel yellow and more like neon yellow!!

To make matters even better, Ethan somehow got a hold of the yellow food coloring and got it all over his hands and cheek!!

Our Little Organizer

One of Ethan's favorite things to do, in addition to organizing and rearranging his sock drawer, is to organize my baking supplies. He takes them out of the basket, lines them all up, and then moves them to a new spot where he lines them up again.

Ethan was home sick on Friday....but he still had just enough energy to organize!

Jell-O Jigglers

Ethan helped me cut out jigglers in heart shapes....his favorite part was sampling EVERY one of the hearts that we cut out!
