My parents came today to watch Ethan at our house....it had been almost 4 weeks since they saw him last so they were very excited to spend the day with him.
Ryan, Ethan and I went to Chicago this weekend and stayed with our friends Megan and Joe...we had a fantastic time and Ethan got lots of love and attention.
No matter what direction we face Ethan if the television is on he will twist his head, no matter how awkward, to find it...and he gets upset when we turn it off! Boy are we in trouble!
I went to Chicago this weekend with my high school friends to see the Broadway version of Dirty Dancing. I rode the train up Saturday morning with Christy and Jill and then came back early Sunday morning. While I was only gone for about 30 hours total, I missed my little man terribly! Ryan, being the amazing husband and father that he is, sent me videos of Ethan throughout the day...here are a few of them for your enjoyment! Be sure to have your sound turned up because Ryan's commentary is priceless:-)
Well, this past week was my first week back at work full-time and it was a crazy one! I haven't had time to post anything new to the blog because I have been spending all of my free time loving on little Ethan....I have to say that I have a newfound respect for working moms!!
I will be back to posting next week, promise!

If one feels the need of something grand, something infinite, something that makes one feel aware of God, one need not go far to find it. I think that I see something deeper, more infinite, more eternal than the ocean in the expression of the eyes of a little baby when it wakes in the morning and coos or laughs because it sees the sun shining on its cradle. -- Vincent van Gogh
Last night I took Ethan to watch Ryan play indoor soccer...I thought that we would try out the Baby Bjorn before we left the house...he can almost see over the front!
We have noticed in the last week or so that Ethan likes to stare at the television.... And just like his father he prefers to be in control of the remote!
