Ethan and Mommy's First Day Alone Together

Today was Ethan and Mommy's first day alone together, and we had a great time! Ethan's schedule right now consists of eating every 2 1/2 to 3 hours, followed by about 15 minutes of awake time, and then nap time. He is a very sleepy baby during the day so I usually have to wake him up to eat (he gets this from his Dad, I never sleep through a meal!)


Ethan and I keep Ryan company while he makes us dinner.


The Younkin Family came to visit us tonight...all 6 of them, Casey, Linda, Kemper, Kyler, Caroline, and Carrick. When I first met Ryan one of his many jobs was babysitting for the Younkin family when Caroline was only 3 months old. She is now in 2nd grade!! It was really special having them visit little Ethan tonight.

Ethan Already Loves His Toys!

Today Ethan laid on his Rainforest Playmat for the first time, and he seemed to really enjoy it, especially the rainforest animal noises.

Ethan also really likes his crib soother!

Busy Friday!!

Today was a busy day, full of firsts!! Ethan and I went on a trip for the first time to visit Daddy at work.

And Ethan discovered his mobile. I think we wound it up 20 times and he loved every minute of it!

Ethan is 1 Week Old!

Ethan is one week old today, and to celebrate, we gave him a pacifier for the first time. He loves it!!

Happy One Year Anniversary!

Today was our One-Year Wedding Anniversary! It's hard to believe that it has been a whole year since we got married! October sure is a good month for us!!

What better way to spend our anniversary than with our little guy. He really likes to spend his awake time staring at Daddy.

Baby Shower at Aunt Jenni's House

Nanny, Aunt Joyce and Aunt Jenni hosted a baby shower for me at Aunt Jenni's house in Shelbyville on September 27th. They went above and beyond to make it a truly amazing and special day. Baby Ethan is very lucky to be born into such a loving family!
